Terms and Conditions:

When we plan retreats/trainings, we must sign contracts with retreat centers and pay for a required number of attendees well in advance of your registration/payment in order to secure the kinds of venues you, our students, appreciate.

When we are asked to refund within a 12-week period in advance of a retreat or training, these requests are very difficult to consider. With transfer and refund requests, as mentioned above, the funds have already been committed to the specific venue.

We ask that you consider carefully, and confirm your acceptance before proceeding to pay.

We want you to know that we are sympathetic to your life circumstances, but we cannot make exceptions to these policies. Please know we are extremely grateful for your ongoing interest and support.

CANCELLATIONS:

  • All cancellations must be made in writing to Terri Montgomery at: terri@yogafit.com.au

  • In the event that you need to cancel, you must let us know 12 weeks in advance of the start of the retreat, by December 28th 2018.

  • If you cancel up to 12 weeks before the retreat, a 25% cancellation fee per person will be charged based on amount paid.

  • No refunds for cancellations within 12 weeks of this retreat, the period December 28, 2018 – March 22, 2019.

  • Terri’s YogaFit’s cancellation policy is firm.

TRANSFERS: 

  • No transfers of registrations between attendees.

REFUNDS:

  • No refunds will be made for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat.

  • All refunds will be processed within 2 weeks following the retreat.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Terri Montgomery or Terri’s Yogafit cannot be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property, or disruption of any program due to circumstances beyond the control of Terri Montgomery or Terri’s Yogafit.

The retreat has helped me somewhat with a problem that has caused a lot of emotional pain.

My first full Lotus pose, this would not have been possible before the retreat, have gained more flexibility and released emotional tension from losing my grandma.

Being in the yurt with candles burning - whisper circle was beautiful

The whispering circle was powerful a good Soul giver and emotional release. 

The meditation, coming out of my comfort zone to try a headstand yay!

Yin yoga is a nurturing and yielding style of yoga that uses long-held, passive poses to nourish the connective tissues in the body, promoting greater physical flexibility, organ health and a calm and peaceful mind.

Guidelines of the practice:

·      Stillness

·      Appropriate depth in the pose (using props to support, if required)

·      Time (5 minute holds)

Our yoga practice is a reflection of how we live our lives – we can benefit from knowing when to be motivated to take action or make change in our lives (Yang), as well as knowing when to release control, to go with the flow, to be still and let what unfolds naturally to occur. (Yin)

Our focus for this workshop of 2.5hrs will be around the Heart and Lung, Small and Large Intestines. Circulation, Respiration and Elimination!

When we can open our hearts to the deeper level to truly let go of stuck energy and emotions we emerge our natural presence, to higher energy levels, vibrant health and feel your positive energy rise.

We will practice conscious breathing (pranayama) physical postures (asana) subtle energies of the chakra’s, stimulate the meridians to generate chi/prana, art therapy through colour and/or words, mindfulness meditation (anapanasati) and deep relaxation (yoga nidra) to restore and nourish the body. The practice should leave you feeling Inspired, calm, restored, creative and nourished to step back into your life with a clearer vision of yourself and feeling the essence of your being, light and love.
